The palace of Portici is one of the most beautiful summer residences in Europe of the royal family and his court.
The place, chose by King Carlo for the marvelous landscape, became full of buried memories: In every evocation, a beauty from the past came out. The archeological findings coming from the buried city of Herculaneum and Pompeii turned out to be rich and numerous and they were arranged in the realm’s rooms. The tour goes on in a fascinating journey through time among the locomotives and trains which linked Italy from 1839 to modern times, spanning the 170-year history of the Italian railways. This is the experience offered to visitors of all ages at the National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa situated in the history of the “Ferrovie dello Stato”, the Italian State Railway, a bridge between the past and present with displays ranging from the Bayard, the first locomotive in Italy, to the sophisticated, high-speed trains.

Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia.
